Troop 234 has been serving the youth of Beavercreek Ohio since it was first chartered in 1973. Originally chartered by Valley Elementary School, the Charter moved to Kirkmont Presbyterian Church in the early 1980's and to The Vineyard Church in 2014. We are a member of the Chillicothe District in the Tecumseh Council. In 2019, Troop 234 expanded to have a second troop to include female scouts in the Boy Scouts program.
Our mission is to develop solid character, outstanding citizenship, strong leadership skills, and healthy morals within young adults through a program of youth led, adult guided, activities. To develop life skills by allowing the scouts the opportunity to lead, plan, attempt, and occasionally, in a safe and supportive environment, fail. To realize the feeling of success, pride, and self confidence when they learn from failures.
